  11. This file contains information regarding the posting of the Ample Notice 
  12. package, version 1.01, on Bulletin Board Systems.

  14. For sample descriptions which you may use to describe the product please refer

  26. As the exclusive copyright holder for Ample Notice, Granny's Old-Fashioned 
  27. Software authorizes on-line distribution only in accordance with the following 
  28. restrictions.  Disk Vendors and Distributors should refer to the VENDOR.TXT 
  29. text file for complete license information.

  31.     o  The Ample Notice package - including all related program
  32.        files and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any
  33.        way (other than that mentioned in the following paragraph)
  34.        and must be distributed as a complete package, without
  35.        exception.  
  36.  
  37.     o  Many BBSs customarily add a small text file
  38.        (advertisement) to each archived file.  This text file
  39.        describes the BBS and tells people that the file was
  40.        downloaded from that particular BBS.  Other BBSs add a
  41.        small one-line message with their BBS name and phone
  42.        number into the compressed file, which will display when
  43.        the file is uncompressed.  Either of these methods of
  44.        mentioning your BBS are acceptable and may be used,
  45.        provided the program and documentation is otherwise
  46.        unmodified and complete.

  48.     o  Please ZIP the files of the Ample Notice package as ANW101.ZIP.

  50.     o  Granny's Old-Fashioned Software prohibits the distribution 
  51.        of outdated versions of the Ample Notice package without 
  52.        written permission.  If the version you have obtained is 
  53.        over twelve (12) months old, please contact us to ensure 
  54.        that you have the most current version.

  56.     o  Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify,
  57.        decompile, disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or
  58.        transfer the licensed program except as provided in this
  59.        agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall result in
  60.        immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  62.     o  U.S. Government Information:  Use, duplication, or
  63.        disclosure by the U.S. Government of the computer software
  64.        and documentation in this package shall be subject to the
  65.        restricted rights applicable to commercial computer
  66.        software as set forth in subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the
  67.        Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at
  68.        252.227-7013 (DFARS 52.227-7013).  The Contractor/
  69.        manufacturer is Granny's Old-Fashioned Software, 
  70.        Route 4, Box 216, Boone, NC 28607-9423.

  92. BBS Update Program: 
  93. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 
  94. Most BBSs have standard procedures for acquiring new files.  They get them 
  95. from other boards, new programs are uploaded by users, etc.  This is good 
  96. because most authors cannot afford to mail disks or upload files to thousands 
  97. of BBSs.  However, some BBSs prefer to obtain programs directly from the 
  98. authors.  If you would like to obtain programs directly from us, send us a 
  99. letter with the name and address of your BBS, your mailing address, the name 
  100. of the person we may contact (preferably the SYSOP or CO-SYSOP), the program 
  101. (or programs) for which you would like to receive updates.  Available programs 
  102. are Ample Notice for DOS and Ample Notice for Windows.
